The Hawks have piled on the meat pies today at home (TG Milner) with a win over the Western Sydney Magpies.
The Hawks got off to a dream start, with a short left edge pass onto Second Rower Matthew Ryan to cross over for the first 4 points.
The left edge seemed unstoppable with Fullback Bradley Cousins stepping on the inside of Captain Mitchell Gray to receive a pop pass to cross for the Hawks second try to add 4 points. A continual two-minute left edge punishment propelled the Hawks a further 8 points before half time.

Second half saw the Magpies came out capitalising the ruck to force the Hawks to make a mistake which lead them to their first points of the game.
A few Magpie handling mistakes gave the Hawks an opportunity to run riot with Captain Mitchell Gray crossing for his second try followed by Mason Ward scoring a personal double and Jamin Williams finishing the game to end the Hawks on 38-6 victory.
