Vale Bradley Mark Wilson

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and club stalwart, Brad Wilson.
Brad had a long association with our club firstly as a player and then, of recent times as an Administrator. Brad was instrumental in lobbying for our re-entry into Massey Cup level competition in 2021. A prodigious goal kicker, he played for the club during the halcyon days of the late 80’s and early 90’s after a short stint with St George. The highlight of his career was the 1990 Grand Final win against the Hills Bulls in a team that featured the late legendary Olsen Filipaina and was coached by his brother Ken. During the clubs 50 year celebrations in 2013, he was named full back in our team of the half century.
Brad was a strong advocate for junior league player development and had a long association with the Holy Cross Rhino’s where he filled many rolls including President.

Brad will be sorely missed by his many friends at Ryde Eastwood, and we would like to pass our condolences to his wife Simone and family.

RIP

– Richard Kelly, Club Representative
